When I was a little girl, I spent my summers in the Sierra Nevada’s in a small town called Mariposa: a gold rush town just about an hour from Yosemite. One summer my parents and grandpa took my brother and I to Yosemite where we stopped by a photography gallery for an artist named Ansel. Mr. Adams portraits moved me that day and ever since I have been chasing the light with my lens.
I started my business when my husband was deployed while he was serving in the Marine Corps. At that time I had nothing but time, a new little camera and friends wanting that beautiful moment of their husbands reuniting with their families photographed, and a new sense of adventure. When my husband was discharged from the marine’s we moved to the central valley, where I am now a full time photographer serving the SF bay area, Sacramento and Central Valley.
A little more about me, I love the water. I get captivated by the waves and the golden hues of sunlight reflecting off the waves. It is where I feel most at peace. You can find me in the summer on the beaches of Santa Cruz or the lake front of Lake Tahoe. I binge watch Orange is the New Black every summer when it comes out, and the Walking Dead is serious business on Sunday night.
I look forward to meeting with you and capturing some amazing memories for you.
